  Hi! Are these children affected by the legacy of Agent Orange? Any details would be greatly appreciated! Cam on! 🙂

    Hi Angela,

    At the Thi Nghe Orphanage, they really do not make the distinction whether these children were directly affected by Agent Orange. The chances are pretty high that they are, considering that 12 million tons of Agent Orange contaminated with Dioxin were sprayed; many of that poison still exists in the land and blood of people in Vietnam today (not to mention the veterans living here in the U.S.).

    Working with these kids have really convinced me that there is a lot of contribution we can make to this humanitarian cause, small things count for a lot when it comes to these children and the sort of resources and opportunities that are available to them.

    Have you been to Vietnam before?
