VIET Fellow Janet Chu presents at Stanford University (2010)

On Saturday, January 22, 2011, VIET Fellow Janet Chu and VIET Fellow Program Manager Kelvin Vuong presented to a group of 30 individuals at the Listen to the Silence Conference at Stanford University.  Janet shared with the group her rationale for wanting to connect to her cultural heritage and explore the environmental and health issues in Vietnam, particularly as a result of Agent Orange and Dioxin.

The Listen to the Silence Conference seeks to increase the visibility of Asian American issues and to educate both those in and outside of the community about the real conditions of the Asian American community.  Special thanks to the Asian American Student Association of Stanford University for hosting the annual conference.
